Shading coefficient ≤ 0.30Installation of exterior solar shade screens on west-facing and south-facing windows. Significantly reduces solar heat gain.
Professional testing requiredProfessional duct testing and sealing to reduce air leakage. In Arizona's extreme heat, leaky ducts in attic spaces can waste enormous amounts of cooled air. Post-repair testing required.
NoneComprehensive energy audit including blower door test, duct leakage testing, and thermal imaging. Full cost is subsidized by APS — customer pays only $99.
NoneBonus rebate available when multiple qualifying improvements are completed as part of a whole-house upgrade based on audit recommendations. Must complete at least three qualifying measures.
